TRAVIS PADILLA
After being raised in San Antonio, Texas, Travis served a two year mission in Peru. Upon returning he was married and began his family and a payment processing business in 2004. After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio he and his amazing wife began looking for a safe family-oriented town with good schools, great people, a sense of community, and extracurricular opportunities for their children, which they found in a desert oasis called Queen Creek, Arizona.
Looking back 17 years later and the move to Queen Creek has been a fantastic decision for Travis and his wife as they have raised 5 children (4 girls and 1 boy ranging from 8 to 22 years old) who love their schools, friends, church, community, and extracurricular opportunities fulfilling their parents hopes when moving to what has now become America's best town to raise a family.
Travis has been a diligent servant and leader in various positions in the Queen Creek community over the past seventeen years including serving in leadership positions at church, the Boy Scouts of America, and an all-girls Venture Crew doing high adventure activities with his daughters such as multi-day backpacking, running, white-water rafting, cycling, survival training, camping, and cooking.
With several businesses, a family, church service, and community involvement, there is little spare time leftover. Travis enjoys using this remaining time on outdoor family vacations, visiting the treasured outdoors in the national parks across the U.S.
Having had greater business success than he deserves over the past 18 years Travis felt the need to use his business knowledge and skills to give back to the community that has served his family so well and to ensure it remains a great town for his children to raise his future grandchildren. With the full support of his loving wife and children, as well as strong encouragement by many friends, acquaintances, fellow church/scouting members, and business associates in the community, Travis decided to run for Queen Creek Town Council Member and successfully won his first election on August 2nd, 2022. Nearing the completion of his first four-year term, he is currently running for re-election in the primary election to be held on July 21st, 2026 to serve another four-year term beginning in January 2027.
Councilman Padilla currently serves on the QC Parks and Recreation and Budget Committees and has previously served on the QC Transportation Advisory and Downtown Arts and Placement Committees during his first four-year term.
In addition, he presently serves on the Arizona Municipal Tax Code Commission after being appointed by Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen in 2025.
